Continuing the tradition of providing quality music since its founding in 1949, the Fort Dodge Area Symphony proudly presents its 2009 - 2010 concert season. The concerts this season will be celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the Symphony. These celebration concerts will include several selections that appeared on our first subscription season.

The first concert will celebrate great beginnings and feature pianist James Dick performing Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4. The traditional Holiday Classics concert will celebrate the season. It will feature guest vocalist Ronald Bemrich who is a Fort Dodge native. In the third concert, we will celebrate the orchestra as four members of the orchestra perform solos. Finally, we will celebrate the future in our Young Artists' concert, which is always a favorite with audiences, as we conclude our season in April.

For more details on the concerts, please explore the individual concert pages listed under the Concert Season menu at the top of this page. If the menu does not appear, the concert pages can also be accessed through the buttons at the bottom of the Concert Season page. Detailed listings of the programs for the concerts will be added as soon as they become available. We hope you will join us for the captivating music at all of the concerts and invite your friends and neighbors to share it with you.

You are visitor number since Sept. 1, 2002.
