Celebrate the Season
Sunday,
December 2, 2007, 3:00 P.M. This concert is a musical celebration of the holiday season. It includes three different musical sleigh rides and glorious but lesser-known selections from Tschaikowsky's Nutcracker. There will also be a cornucopia of Johann Strauss waltzes, polkas, and marches to welcome the new year. The program will close with the traditional Handel's Messiah audience sing-a-long. The Karl King Bell Ringers, directed by Jan Altemeier, will perform prior to the concert starting at 2:30. They will also perform two selections during the concert. The Soprano Chorus of the Fair Oaks Middle School Honor Choir will also perform in the concert as they sing the Waltz of the Snowflakes from The Nutcracker. For more information on these two groups, see the Special Guests page. PROGRAM
