Heading for the Concert Season page

Continuing the tradition of providing quality music since its founding in 1949, the Fort Dodge Area Symphony proudly presents its 2010 - 2011 concert season. The concerts this season will include a variety of musical selections and feature several soloists who have performed with the Symphony in previous years.

In the first concert, the Symphony will join with the Central Iowa Symphony to perform works by Mahler and Mozart. The traditional holiday concert will feature Fort Dodge native Eddie Neimann as a piano soloist as well as the usual music of the season. In the third concert, Music Director Eric McIntyre will not only conduct the orchestra, but also perform as a soloist. Finally, the Young Artists' concert, which is always a favorite with audiences, concludes our season in April.

For more details on the concerts, please explore the pages linked to this page. Detailed listings of the programs for the concerts will be added as soon as they become available. We hope you will join us for the captivating music at all of the concerts and invite your friends and neighbors to share it with you.
