Orchestra Auditions and Openings Openings for the 2009-10 season:      * 2nd bassoon Auditions for woodwind and brass players require a portion of a solo of their choice. All string players are welcome. Students must be recommended by a teacher. The string players may audition on a solo or use the orchestra music after about four rehearsals. Any woodwind, brass or percussion players interested in playing should make contact even though there are no openings. Sometimes substitutes are needed.
