Laura Cooper
Cello Soloist

     Laura is the orchestra director for the Fort Dodge Community School District. This past summer she led a string program sponsored by the Ann Smeltzer Charitable Trust. Mrs. Cooper completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in music at Luther College in 2009. While at Luther, Laura was a cello student of Dr. Eric Kutz, a conducting student of Dr. Daniel Baldwin and was a member of the Luther College Symphony and Chamber Orchestras. She has toured extensively in the United States and in Europe, including a performance at the Vienna Konzerthaus.
