Dr.David Klee

David Klee is available for private flute lessons on Monday evenings through Thursday evenings at Iowa Central Community College. Dr. Klee is Director of Jazz Studies and Assistant Professor of Music at Buena Vista University, Storm Lake, Iowa. He directs the jazz ensemble and jazz combo, teaches advanced music theory, music/jazz appreciation, and woodwind lessons. He is also a freelance musician and clinician throughout the mid-west.

Dr. Klee brings with him a wealth of education and experience. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Flute Performance and Music Education, Mercer University, Macon, Georgia; the Master of Music Education Degree with an Emphasis in Flute Performance, University of South Carolina, and Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in Flute Performance, University of Georgia, in 1998. Not only has his education included being prinicipal flute for several symphonies, but he also worked in several recording studios as a staff musician as well as a freelance jazz musician in serval jazz groups performing on flutes, saxes, and electric bass.
