Natalie Ramlow

Natalie
is pursuing a Bachelor of Music at the University of Iowa. She is a
2006 graduate of New Trier Township High School, Winnetka, Illinois,
where she was a student of Guyneth Sharp, voice. While in high school
she participated in the Midwest Young Artists Competition, Highwood,
Illinois; the Western Michigan University Seminar, Kalamazoo,
Michigan; the Steve Zegree Vocal Jazz Camp, Champaign, Illinois; and
the Interlochen Arts Camp, Interlochen, Michigan.
Her performance experience in high school includes the following: Solo/Ensemble Festival with repeated Division I ratings, Midwest Young Artists Chorale where she was a soprano soloist in Ralph Vaughan Williams' Serenade to Music and Franz Schubert's Mass in G, Interlochen Arts Camp Operetta Workshop as a chorus member for Gilbert and Sullivan's Ruddigore, Illinois Music Educators' Association All-State Festival Chorus, the Western Michigan University Seminar where she was a soloist in Eric Whitacre "Lux Aurumque", Illinois Music Educations' Association All-State Festival Honors Chorus, and National Association of Teachers of Singing Competition at the University of Northern Iowa.
Educational activities include the Steve Zegree Vocal Jazz Camp, Kalamazoo, Michigan; a Western Michigan University Seminar; and the Midwest Young Artists, Highwood, Illinois.
Awards include the Lagniappe/Potpourri Scholarship, Louise Yates Burns Scholarhip, University of Iowa School of Music Scholarship, Edna Lenicek Music Scholarship, and Rex Montgomery Opera Scholarship. She is on the Dean's List and Honors Program at the University of Iowa.
